Thursday Treatz on Friday

HI Crafters,
   I took the day off  to attend the Southern Woman's Show in Nashville yesterday, so didn't have time to post this wonderful recipe. Craftin' Pal Kathy shared this, sounds super yummy.

Kathy's Company Crockpot Chicken

1 stick butter, melted (or less)
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts  (or what will fit in casserole if baking in oven)
6 mozzarella slices
Cr of mushroom soup (or chicken which I like better)
1/4 c. water
Stuffing mix   (I usually buy either herb or chicken flavor)
 
Spray crockpot or use liner.  Lay chicken breasts in bottom and top with cheese slices.  Combine soup and water and pour over chicken.  Mix melted butter and stuffing mix and top soup mix.  Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.
 
If making in the oven, spray casserole and layer as above.  Bake at 350 until chicken done.  Might have to cover if stuffing gets too brown.
 
Easy and really good.
