A must-have holiday dish starting with Thanksgiving all the way through New Year's
is Mom's cranberry relish. With only a few ingredients, a delicious relish/salad can be
made to go with any meal. Pick up a few extra bags of cranberries on sale now and
put in the freezer to use later in the year.
1 Bag Frozen Cranberries (easier to grind if frozen)
1 Orange, washed and quartered, take out seeds if any
1 cup chopped nuts-mom uses walnuts, I like pecans.
1 cup sugar (or Splenda if needed)
Grind or chop cranberries(grinder or blender)
Grind or chop orange
Mix all ingredients together.
This is better made ahead so the flavors can blend.
