Washi Tape Easter Eggs

April/May 2015
My inspiration--these used washi paper, but washi tape would be easier.

It isn't too early to think about Easter eggs/decorations.

Materials:
Blown out, cleaned and dried real eggs.
Or use plastic, paper mache or wood eggs.
 Assorted rolls of washi tape
Clear sealant--either spray or brush on.

1. Make sure outside of egg is clean or the tape won't stick.  Except for the paper mache eggs, rub the outsides with alcohol wipes to take off dirt and oils. Let dry.
2.  Cover with short strips of washi tape--either around the egg or up and down.
3. Make sure all edges are pushed down so sealant can't get under the tape.
4. Cover with sealant.
5. Arrange in a basket or pretty spring bowl!
