YUMMY BAKED BEANS
This is a recipe my mom always made for the summer gatherings!
(Can be enjoyed anytime of the year.)
Summer Baked Beans
This recipe will fill a medium size baking dish.
Adjust as needed for servings.
2 Cans Regular Baked Beans
1/2 cup brown sugar
Chopped onion (optional if you don't like onions)
5-6 slices of bacon,chopped (to save time I use the precooked)
1/4 cup ketchup
splash of worchestshire sauce
1. If bacon isn't cooked, fry with the chopped onion. Drain, but not too much.
2. Mix all ingredients in an oven proof dish.
3. Bake at 350degrees for at least 45 minutes.
4. I have also made these in a crock pot on low for most of a day. Can serve right out of crockpot.
