COLOR MY WORLD

I decided that at 60 years young, I could treat myself to the
top end watercolor pencils. I scored a 36 count tin of
Prismacolor Watersoluble pencils during the
back to school tax free weekend. These match
the regular Prismacolor Color pencils I found at
Sam's a few months ago. I can't wait to see how well the tins of
colors work together on my projects.
I feel most spoiled!

On the other end of the cost spectrum,
I decided to try a pack of I Magine color
pencils from Dollar General.
For $1.00 a pack, these are amazing.
There is a smooth color laydown, and they
even blend a bit.
The pencils sharpen without breaking.
The only downside is that the colors are limited to 12.
Besides that, these are great for basic projects,
and/or when you don't want to travel with the expensive utensils.
Try a pack, but get them soon since I don't often see them in the stores
after the back to school rush.
While you are there, just for fun, pick up a pack of the 4 color in one pencils.
This is the only place I have seen these.
