Chicken and Rice
Here is a go-to recipe for busy days.
My oldest updated the recipe from his childhood.
Here is his version:
He puts it in the oven, but we decided it could
also be a crock pot meal--
just be sure to use a liner.
One can cream of celery
One can cream of Mushroom
One can water
One box Uncle Ben's long grain rice original recipe
Mix all in a bowl and pour into glass baking dish.
Set raw chicken thighs(with skin)on top of rice mixture.
Cover with foil and bake 350degrees for 2.5 hours.
(Longer in the crock pot start out on high, turn to low.)
