Hot Dog Spaghetti
Credit goes to FCE member Vicki who said this recipe is a kid favorite---reminds them of
Spaghettios! (I have not tried it yet, but plan to soon.)
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
2 TBSP vinegar
1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
1 TBSP sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 lb. hot dogs (any kind) cut in bite size pieces
Spaghetti (I plan to use the bite size cut up sketti pasta from Barilla)
In 2 quart casserole, combine the first ingredients.
Stir in hot dogs until coated.
Microwave or cook on stove, covered, until heated through (7-8 minutes).
Stir at least twice.
Serve hot dogs over the spaghetti, (I may just mix the sketti in with the sauce,
and try it in the casserole crock pot.)
