The landscaping off of the patio has been neglected
for the past few years--due to 'life happenings'.
Weather, family members' health challenges,
life changes all contributed to a mess of weeds and sadness.
I decided it was time to 'clean' it up. I started moving rocks as well as
throwing away the dead ragged plants and landscape fabric.
As I was cleaning out one bed, it reminded me of the
popular show on HGTV--Fixer Upper.
I guess I have been living under the rock of the cable
world, because I just found this show this winter--just in time for
it to end! LOL But, that means that all of the episodes are new to me as I watch
the team transform a mess into something worth living in.
It's all rather fascinating--even though I have to remind myself
that Chip and Jo have a whole crew behind their plans,
while I'm a do-it-herselfer.
One rock at a time will transform my eyesore into
an area to soothe the troubled soul.
