Tuesday Tipz!

ANSWER to Monday's Riddle

These beads are made from dried chunks of potatoes.
A toothpick is used to make the hole.
It's a rather long process taking a few weeks for the 'bead'
to dry, along with having to turn the 'tater' chunk a few times a day
so it won't stick to the toothpick.
When dry, the bead is painted and sprayed with a sealant.
Metallic nail polish could be used to add some sparkle.
The beads are then strung with other beads to make a bracelet!
Be sure to add some bling!

  1. I NEVER would have guessed potatoes!!!

  2. I would never have guessed either if I hadn't taken a class. And if the beads are dried out, they are very hard and will last a very long time!
